About Triarcus Systems
Triarcus Systems is a computer science research and engineering organization focused on the governance of complex computational systems.
We develop constitutional models, formal invariants, and runtime architectures that allow advanced systems to scale without loss of safety, agency, or accountability. Our work operates at the level of first principles—where computation, authority, and human oversight intersect.
Triarcus was founded on the belief that as computational power increases, restraint, structure, and legitimacy must increase with it. Rather than optimizing systems for speed or autonomy alone, we design the governing frameworks that ensure computational power remains explainable, auditable, and human-directed.
From Principle to a Working System
Triarcus has moved from governance principles to a working system. Cornerstone, our pre-execution governance engine, evaluates whether a system should be permitted to act — before it acts — and returns a deterministic, auditable decision with a complete reasoning trace. It is the first operational demonstration of the constitutional governance approach described here. The work is documented and timestamped from the project's first day: October 1, 2025.
